How to read this. “Not verifiable” does not mean “fabricated.” It means the reference was not
found in Crossref or OpenAlex — which also happens for legitimate books, reports, and articles in
regional or non-indexed journals. Treat it as a prompt to check by hand, not a verdict. This web
version queries two databases; the research pipeline adds a third (Semantic Scholar) and human review.
